Generations Of Experience.
Forth Wild Ltd is a family business equally owned by cousins Tommy, Douglas and Robbie Dale and is set up to provide exclusive tours and private charters around the islands of the Firth of Forth and the Fife coast.
The Dale family have farmed at Auldhame, looking out to the Bass Rock, since 1834 and for generations our family were in charge of the Seacliff Rocket Apparatus Crew. Day and night keeping a vigilant lookout for ships in peril entering the Firth of Forth. They saved many lives over the years by firing their rocket with rope attached out over the vessels in distress and bringing the crew back to safety in a set of breeches.
Local Business. Local Experts.
Since the early 1980’s the family have operated commercial lobster creeling boats out of North Berwick and Seacliff harbours, giving our guides an expert insight into the local area. Sea-faring is second nature and through our family's decades of experience with commercial fishing, we truly understand the importance of sustainability.
